Out in the sunshine!

We had a great morning out today, watching Amy's mum do tai chi in the park, and also visiting the community garden, love the wind and sunshine on my face!

Yi from People First took us all from Te Puke Arohanui out to the new cafe near the studio, as an end of year treat!  I enjoyed tasting the carrot cake!

Relax and stories

I had a lovely, relaxing afternoon on the beanbag, which was lovely to stretch, Sarah read us stories from a book that Brooke had brought in, my favourite one was about a fat little piggy, it made me smile!

Sensory tent

I got into the sensory tent and enjoyed the sea creatures attached and the bright green colours and ribbon really tickle my fancy!

Being fanned

Jacky and Shelley made a really cool fan, it's so bright and cooling, it made me happy on such a hot day!

Out for a stroll to the garden

It was a crisp spring morning, but perfect for a stroll to our garden and check out it's progress, I was quite fascinated with our purple pansies.

Housemate Lee come to visit

Organising memory match

I'm helping organise my friends to play memory match, it's Winnie the Pooh! It's fun seeing them all search their boards to make the match!

Enjoying chair free time

One of my favourite things is to enjoy chair free time on the beanbag at the centre, I love the different perspective it gives me on my world, and the freedom from the chair!

We had some cracker weather in Te Puke, so we took advantage of it and spent some time walking around, and having fun at the park!

Our friend Amy is in hospital, so we all made a lovely card, in sunny yellow, to show her we care and are thinking of her!

I'm enjoying exploring our sensory tray, the squiggly pink worm tickles my legs and I love the noises from the cushions, so crinkly.

Music at Greerton

I had the best time joint our friends in a Greerton for our music session, I was so full of smiles!

Beach art fun!

I'm really enjoying being part of our beach art project, here is the start, laying the shells out before we paint!

Hand puppet fun

I love my chair free time, my friend Dave was making me happy showing me the hand puppet we've been working on! I'm so comfortable!

Bayfair cruising

I got such a treat this week, with a couple of trips to bayfair, I got an ice cream, and we even saw some of our greerton friends there which was a cool surprise!

Out to the drama production

I really enjoyed my outing to watch my friends perform in the sound of music drama production, was great to see some of my Wilrose and Greerton friends there supporting too.

My new wheat bag

On these cold winter days I love floor time with my new wheat bag, check out the beautiful fluffy fabric, it feels snugly on my neck!

I love being out of my chair and jacky has made me a wonderful new bean cushion to lax on.

We had a makeup session and I got to try a bit of lipstick. Very nice colour I thought.

My flatmate Leigh came to have visit us at the studio. He bought along a special morning tea and a big smile.
